Quarantine Day 32: Days are getting longer
Hello Dear Reader,
I feel like the days are getting longer. This morning I woke up to a noise of a huge break or explosion, whatever you want to call it. We woke up an quickly ran down stairs to check, the glass of the terrace kind of cracked from the strong winds we have been getting in the north of Italy. If you were wondering how the small things continue in daily life, the insurance companies still work. It’s not a complete chaos, so that was handled.
No matter what kind of chaos you might be in, there are still mishaps and daily life struggles that continue. At least it somehow still reminds us that life goes on. I noticed that most companies in north of Italy are still hiring people, actually even some job adverts put like 2-3 days ago, I guess technology never sleeps nor self-isolates. I do enjoy my little jokes and sarcastic comments mid blog, it kind of gives me life.
For a few days I have this horrible migraine, on top of all this COVID-19 scare, I also have allergies, and migraine. I don’t want to moan too much because due to Turkish people believes we believe that worse will happen if you keep moaning about what you have. So I will stop there, 2020 I honestly can’t handle more of your drama.
Like every day around 19.00 pm, me and Tommy checked the number of deaths. Still high, around 650 a day actually. I also noticed today that no matter USA has the most contagion number, Italy still runs the highest number of deaths. Which to me shows how hard the health system was hit and how they no longer have the supplies and budgets to help people with the virus. It’s horrible. I slowly also started hearing some of our friends and also some friends parents that caught the virus. So in good and some in bad condition. I ask all of you, if you haven't please take it serious. I especially notice the parents not taking it too serious but that worries us more. I guess the tables have turned and they are the ones that don’t listen to us. Stay safe in your homes, I am anxiously waiting to see how long our home lock-downs have been extended, will know on April 3rd.
Goodnight x
