Consciousness and Awareness

A Critical Analysis

This paper compares and contrast two papers: 1) an extract from “Republic Book” by Plato, and 2) an extract from “Critique of Pure Reason” by Immanuel Kant. Plato is observing the attitude of humans, in which they are seemingly aware of things before even realizing the truth, or real in our case. Kant however argues pure reasoning.Kant considers this as a priori, that 5+7 is 12 however no analysis will prove so and it is accepted generally and is universal.

Emotion Processing

A Comparative Analysis

I have analysed  “What’s an Emotion?” By William James which looks at how we experience emotion and how the process takes place in our brain. Second paper  and third paper are “Film Studies and Psychoanalysis” and “Film and Emotion”.  These two extracts look at how emotions are triggered by the film experience and how the concept of “experience” can be taken further with studying cinematic wholeness.
